Gail Pogorzelski from Melville Australia posted on 22 Aug 2023 2:57:57 PM I once had the privilege of listening to a Podcast made by Kyra this didnt happen just by chance Kyra had to earn this opportunity by taking it of her own bat and instead of everybody listening to Podcasts being made by adults with disabilities she questioned why young people couldnt have information instead of always listening to the adults so Kyra was given permission to create a Podcast for the younger generation with disabilities and what an outstanding description of her life also this gave Kyra the opportunity to interview other young people in the same situation and her questions were very interesting and straightforward and it was really great to listen to the replies. I immediately thought this young girl is certainly going to contribute to making us better people and also making the world a better place to live in and along with her amazing family and friends you all should be proud of this brilliant beautiful girl

I remember very well all our times together on duty during lunch and our own interpretations of dancing and giggly singing just to cheer ourselves up. The video shows Kyra's incredible journey and the obstacles she has had to overcome in life. Kyra is a person who tries very hard at school and in life. A very determined and competitive young lady. She is the type of person who doesn't listen to the naysayers. In fact Kyra likes to prove them wrong Kyra has a loving family and a great group of friends. She is also very thankful of her support network as well. The video emphasizes that the key to success is to focus on your goals and not the obstacles. This is what makes Kyra the warrior she is today.
