Terms & Conditions
- All entries must be provided on a DVD. Entry to this competition is FREE.
- School entrants must be current students of an Australian Primary or High School.
- This entry form must be correctly completed and accompany your video entry and received by closing date 30th June, 2010.
- Each entry is responsible for their own transit insurance, postage and production costs.
- Confirmation of receipt of entry will not be sent. Videos that abide to the entry criteria will be loaded to NOVA Employment and Training's website www.focusonability.com.au 12th July, 2010.
- Voting will cease midnight 30th July, 2010. Winners, Runners-up and randomly chosen voters will be notified by 12th, August 2010.
- Entries will not be returned.
- Decisions made by competition organisers regarding appropriateness of entry and winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. NOVA Employment and Training Program Inc. reserves the right to exclude any entry they consider inappropriate . This may include any video that in NOVA Employment and Training's opinion contains racist, sexist, violent, discriminatory or otherwise likely to offend community standards.
- Video entries are to be maximum 5 minute duration.
- Entrants wishing to withdraw from this competition must do so before the official closing date of 11th July 2010.
- It is the responsibility of the entrants to inform NOVA Employment of any changes to contact details.
- Entries will become the property of NOVA Employment and Training and may be used for promotion or loaded on relevant websites. This license is given by entrants in return for NOVA Employment and Training Program Inc. including their entry in this competition.
- NOVA Employment and Training Program Inc.'s decision as to the winners in each category, runners-up in each category and randomly selected voters is final and conclusive.
- The video that receives the most on-line votes in the school's category will be declared the winner and the school will receive $5000 prize money.
- The video that receives the second highest number of on-line votes in the school’s category will be declared runner-up and the school will receive $1500 prize money.
- The video that receives the most on-line votes in the open entrant category will be declared the winner and will receive $5000 prize money. If more than one individual was involved in the production of the winning video then the prize money of $5000 will be divided amongst the individuals involved.
- The video that receives the second highest number of on-line votes in the open entrant category will be declared runner-up and will receive $1500 prize money. If more than one individual was involved in the production of the video then the prize money of $1500 will be divided amongst the individuals involved.
- The video that receives the most on-line votes in the school student category will be declared the winner and will receive $1500 prize money. If more than one student was involved in the production of the winning video then the prize money of $1500 will be divided amongst the individuals involved.
- The video that receives the second highest number of on-line votes in the school student category will be declared runner-up and will receive $500 prize money. If more than one student was involved in the production of the video then the prize money of $500 will be divided amongst the individuals involved.
